Last week, Anya Hindmarch suspended giant, inflatable chubby hearts across London as part of a public design project, transforming famous London landmarks, skies and locations across the city.
Kicking off on Valentine’s Day, and continuing on as a celebration of London Fashion Week, Heart of London Business Alliance joined a host of other partners, including the Mayor of London, Somerset House, New West End Company, British Fashion Council, and others to deliver the project in 30 locations across London.
The giant balloons floated from dusk until dawn each day and reappeared above different locations over seven days. The Mayor of London, the British Fashion Council, the City of Westminster, Councils, Landowners, Businesses, Districts and the Civil Aviation Authority all came together to make this project happen across 30 locations in London, including Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, The Ritz London, The Trafalgar St. James, and Trafalgar Square, to name a few.
People were encouraged the follow the campaign on social media and share their own images of the balloons in tribute to London – our highly creative city – using #CHUBBYhearts
