Heart of London Business Alliance in partnership with Safer West End Business Crime Reduction Partnership have arranged an ACT Awareness training session for businesses that fall within the Leicester Square, Piccadilly & St James’s areas.
ACT Awareness is the new counter terrorism training initiative for businesses, produced by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO). This training session is the perfect opportunity for you to meet Counter Terrorism Officers from the Metropolitan Police and ask specific questions you may have.
Previously known as Project Griffin, this immersive training runs through a range of topics relating to counter terrorism, such as:
- Spotting suspicious behaviour
- How to report suspicious behaviour anonymously
- How to deal with suspected mail threats
- The current threat level to the UK
If you have already attended this training or something similar, please encourage another team member to attend. Please arrive at the venue at 9.15am for a 9.30am start. Refreshments will be provided.
If you have any questions, please get in contact with Safer WestEnd BCRP Officer – Keeva Farrell: firstname.lastname@example.org or 07387266321.
