Open Britain, the European Movement and Britain for Europe will march and rally to demonstrate the extent of public support to stay within the EU and a public vote on the terms of Brexit.

This is a Medium/High Impact event due to a number of others marches also taking place on the same day that follow a similar route.

The marches include:

  • 12pm – 5pm – People’s Vote (Anti-Brexit march)
  • 8pm – 1pm – Anti-Slavery march
  • 1pm – 6pm – Veterans PTSD march
  • 11am – Undisclosed – Dyslexia march

Large numbers are expected – between 50,000 – 80,000. If numbers exceed Park Lane southbound capacity, the march start will be moved into Piccadilly.

A truck-mounted stage will be located on the south side of Parliament Square Gardens to facilitate the rally, with additional screens being placed on Whitehall.

Key timings include:
9am – Stage truck arrives at Parliament Square
12pm – March for Peoples Vote form up
1pm – Step off
2pm – March for Peoples Vote arrives at Parliament Square
5pm – March for Peoples Vote disperses

All road closures will be managed by the Metropolitan Police Service, who will be in attendance.
