Thank you to our businesses that pledged your plastic waste to create our festive sculpture, The Hart of London is now on display in St James’s Church gardens!
In the run up to Christmas, the Hart serves as a reminder to recycle plastic waste during the festive season. The Hart of London, designed and created by Faith Bebbington, is on display until 6 January and we would love for you to visit the installation and donate to the church’s charity.
We’ve partnered with Veolia and Westminster City Council on this innovative installation. As part of the Hart installation, there is a £3 tap donation point to raise money for the Church’s charity which offers night shelters for the homeless, support for asylum seekers and free counselling services. Every tap donation will see the Hart light up with beautiful illumination, creating a magical moment that visitors are sure to remember.
Heart of London businesses have actively contributed to the creation of the festive sculpture set to grace the beautiful St. James’s Church gardens by answering a call to action to donate all plastic milk bottles from their businesses.
The installation will be connected to a special TAP London device enabling you to easily donate to the Church’s charity.
We are pleased to confirm that a significant amount of online press has been generated for the installation. To review the coverage to date, click here.
