Leicester Square will be home to the Film Premiere of ‘A Star is Born’ on Thursday 27 September.

This is a High Impact event.

Work will commence for the premiere in the square on Wednesday 26 September at 12pm and will continue until Friday 28 September at 10am.

The premiere is to take place at VUE Cinema, Leicester Square on Thursday 27 September from approximately 5pm.

The event will be attended by members of the cast and is expected to draw significant crowds to the Leicester Square area.

Please note that there will be no public access to the gardens from on the afternoon of the 26 and all day on the 27 of September – timings outlined below:

Wednesday 26 September
12:00pm – Gardens close to the public
12:00pm – Barrier/ matting/ truss delivered
1:00pm – Generator delivered
2:00pm – Staging delivered
4:00pm – Lighting rigged
6:00pm – Barriers in gardens laid out
There will be over night security operating.

Thursday 27 September
Gardens will be closed to the public all day.
 6:00am – HEART PRODUCTIONS and Pace Prestige Security on site
– LED Screens delivered
– OB struck delivered
– Lighting and sound delivered
– Flags, graphics, branding and carpet delivered
– Barriers, carpet, lighting and sound from garden to VUE cinema
– Start to load crowd pens
– Music played on carpet
– Press pen closes
– Cast arrives
– Doors open to guests

– De-rig carpet between gardens and Cinema

Suppliers start collections

Friday 28 September
7:00am – Rigging, matting and barriers collected

Front of stage barriers will be used for whole event, which will require longer to install.
