Annual event involving a pub crawl along the circle line to celebrate New Zealand Independence Day.
This is a Medium Impact event.
Starting in Paddington, participants either travel by tube or foot to nine designated pubs before congregating at Broad Sanctuary to perform the Haka.
Police supported road closures at Broad Sanctuary and a pan London command team in place.
Anticipated numbers: 1,000
Key Timings:
10:00am – Meet at Bayswater Arms, Paddington
3:30pm – Crowds start to congregate at Broad Sanctuary
4:00pm – Haka performed
4:05pm – Crowds disperse and roads re-open
