As businesses begin to reopen safely, London & Partners have launched the Because I’m a Londoner campaign.
This consumer-facing campaign’s aim is to restore consumer confidence, working with an Alliance of London’s businesses, cultural organisations and city authorities.
Heart of London members are encouraged to join the alliance and get involved in the campaign. Simply follow these two steps to participate:
- Download the digital package filled with assets for you to share on your channels.
- Add the hashtag #BecauseImALondoner to your digital content to join the social conversation. Tell stories about your business, your customers, your employees and your neighbourhood – share the love for your local area, what it means to be a Londoner and your positive London stories!
Not ready to reopen yet? Don’t worry, these new assets will be ready and waiting for you once the time is right for you to open your doors. In the meantime, you can shine a spotlight on your local area using the #BecauseImALondoner hashtag and celebrating local businesses assets.
The cohesive campaign will help Londoners to feel confident that going out and spending locally – when businesses are able to open – is safe and will be a great experience. It’ll show that, for those who can, spending locally is a way to support other Londoners and stand in solidarity with the city.
Offering a boost for business, the campaign is backed by the Mayor of London, Transport for London, local councils, big businesses and brands across the city – in partnership with adam&eveDDB, Salesforce and Mastercard.
