Government roadmap for re-opening announced 22 Feb

On Monday 22 Feb, Prime Minister Boris Johnson delivered a statement to MPs in the House of Commons, outlining the Government’s plans to ease the current set of COVID-19 national lockdown restrictions in England. At the same time, the Cabinet Office published the Government’s full COVID-19 Response – Spring 2021,’ roadmap for how it intends to proceed over the coming months in relaxing measures, as the vaccination programme continues, with all UK adults now due to be offered the COVID-19 vaccine by the end of July.

During his statement, Johnson confirmed the details of each phase, which are due to be spaced approximately 5 weeks apart.
