Rebuilding our capital of culture with the Evening Standard

With theatre, cinemas and galleries closed for months, and a devastating 40% of London’s stage workers laid off during the pandemic, the past year has been an intensely challenging period for the cultural sector.

On Wednesday 16 June, Heart of London Business Alliance continued the conversation about the future of the arts in the capital, in a discussion chaired by the Evening Standard’s Chief Theatre Critic Nick Curtis, with our Chief Executive Ros Morgan, Hotel Director of The Londoner Hotel Charles Oak, Actress, Producer and Co-Founder of Platform Presents Gala Gordon and Lead Actress from Pretty Woman: The Musical Aimie Atkinson.

The event was filmed on location at The Londoner Hotel, which will open to the public during the summer.
