This summer, we introduced deck chairs to Leicester Square. Free to use and available for everyone, the deck chairs form part of a wider summer marketing campaign for Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus with the aim of enhancing consumer perceptions of the area.
The campaign is a result of consumer research of the area that was carried out earlier in the year, which has helped guide our marketing strategy for Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. The summer campaign includes out-of-home advertising in which we highlight exactly what consumers can do in Leicester Square.
From promoting our summer deck chairs, sensational cinema trips, family favourites and rooftop cocktails, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. And of course, Leicester Square is a 24hour destination. So, our summer campiagn brings awareness of this very fact.

Our deck chairs are a staple physical asset as part of the summer campaign 2019. Introduced to increase consumer dwell time in the area, you only have to take a moment to see this part of the summer campiagn making a definate impact by visiting the square. Every deck chair is normally occupied at least by lunch time every day.
Not only are the deck chairs available to use by consumers, we’ve partnered with other activities in the square and shared use of the deck chairs to maximise on their branding opportunity and signify a collaborative messaging.

This year, our Summer Screenings are back bring a four-day festival of family friendly films to Leicester Square. We’ve partnered with Time Out Magazine to amplify our messaging of summer in the suqare including the Summer Screenings. A full report will be available once the campaign is complete.
