TAP London – Tackling homelessness one tap at a time
Four new people become homeless on the streets of Westminster every day. We all pass people living on the street and sadly homelessness has become an almost ingrained and normalised part of our society.
In October, we held our powerful Persepctive event, joined by TAP London, Westminster City Council, LandAid and homeless charities including The Connection and St Mungo’s. Discussions centred around homelessness and how business can help. A focal takeaways from our discussion was the impending launch of the TAP London contactless giving campaign.
On Wednesday 28 November, the TAP London contactless giving campaign was officially launched in Westminster. We are to proud to be part of this initiative, partnering with the Mayor of London and a host of our businesses to help homeless charities make a difference this winter.
We are calling on businesses to get involved in this high profile campaign by hosting contactless giving points, either as a small window display or counter-top point of sale. If you’re business is interested in hosting a TAP donation point or you would like to find out more, please get in touch via email on: firstname.lastname@example.org.
