All members of Heart of London are encouraged to use our carefully selected and preferred suppliers.
By using a single provider we will reduce delivery vehicles on the road. We will be finding suppliers that use electric vehicles where possible.
As part of this service, members can arrange a waste audit where recommendations for increasing recycling, reducing overall waste and saving money will be made. Arranging off-street waste collections are a priority for Heart of London and if not already facilitated we will work with you to find practical off street collection arrangements.
To book your waste audit, please contact: Christina.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Waste consolidation at 30 Panton Street: Case study
In order to address the high levels of pollution in London, we have consolidated waste collections at 30 Panton Street to help reduce vehicle movements, congestion and improve air quality.
The project was funded by Transport for London (TfL) and facilitated by JLL Building Managers. The waste collection contractor is Westminster City Council’s Commercial Waste Sevices (CWS), and is in partnership with Veolia.
There have also been unexpected positive outcomes from the project. Recycling rates in 30 Panton Street have more than doubled from 23% to 63% in just two months.
