Welcome in the new year at London’s New Year’s Day Parade (LNYDP) and Festival.

London has welcomed the new year for the past 30 years with a parade and festival. Follow the parade which passes landmark buildings, world class tourist attractions and restaurants offering cuisine across the globe. Running alongside the parade, watch the LNYDP concert series and Grand Finale of the London International Choral festival. The parade is a culmination of indoor and outdoor performances.

The Parade route is as follows – Piccadilly, Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Waterloo Place, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and Parliament Street.

Roads will be closed from 3:30pm until 6pm.

Disabled access

There is a dedicated area at the junction Whitehall and Horse Guards Avenue set aside for Disabled Access. It is a fully covered area of the parade route, closed off to the general public and containing a toilet.
