In June, we partnered with the Film & TV Charity to bring a host of Corgi related activities to Leicester Square.
A special charity preview screening of the new film, The Queen’s Corgi was shown at Cineworld in Leicester Square. Ticket sales went towards funding the vital work of the Film and Television Charity, who exist to help creativity in UK Film and TV flourish and offer a variety of support to professionals working behind the camera when they need it most.
The screening was kindly donated by Lionsgate UK, presented by The Film & Television Charity, and supported by Cineworld, Westminster City Council and Heart of London Business Alliance.
As part of the activities, Leicester Square gardens was home to a special Corgi garden party. Visitors where invited to meet some real life Corgi’s, including a special guest appearance form Marcel the Corgi.
Plus, a host of family friendly activities where available for all to enjoy, from face painting, biscuit and cupcake decorating and a real marching band. It delivered a Sunday bursting with entertainment, further signifying our key brand messaging for Leicester Square as London’s home of entertainment and film.
